Starting and ending the day care relationship

In municipal day care, the day care fee is charged starting from the day confirmed in the day care decision. The day care fee is charged from the first day that the child is left at the day care location without his/her parents. If a new day care relationship begins or the child´s day care ends in the middle of a calendar month, the fee is the monthly fee determined for the family divided by the number of operating days and multiplied by the number of days the child is in day care. Termination of the day care relationship is reported using the service need form.
