You can book an appointment for laboratory tests by calling (02) 313 6321 (Mon.-Fri 7 am-3 pm) or using the TYKSLAB browser-based booking program. Of course, you can use all TYKSLAB laboratories without an appointment. In such cases, you should reserve more time because clients are served in the order of arrival. Laboratory services are handled by the Intermunicipal Hospital District of Southwest Finland´s laboratory unit located at the main health centre in Salo. Other health centres can also take a limited number of laboratory samples. You need a doctor´s referral for laboratory tests. No referral is required for HIV and pregnancy tests.
