Oral health care
The purpose of oral health care at health centres is to promote and maintain the oral health of the population, prevent oral and dental disease and, if necessary, carry out corrective treatment in a quality and appropriate manner.

Dental care is free of charge for customers under the age of 18. Customers over the age of 16 will be charged a fee of EUR 33.90 for any appointments that are not cancelled.
Emergency services and first aid
Emergency dental care is provided on weekdays between 8 am and 4 pm at the Western health centre, Vilhonkatu 25. The telephone number is (02) 772 3852. A reservation is required.
On weekends and public holidays, customers can book a same-day appointment at the hospital district´s emergency dental clinic located at the University of Turku´s Institute of Dentistry by calling (02) 313 1564 between 9 am and 10:30 am.
