You can make an appointment with the Assistive Device Service by calling (02) 772 3630 Mon.-Fri., 8 am-noon. An assistive device is a device, piece of equipment or similar object that enhances or maintains a person´s functional capacity and participation when it is diminished because of injury, illness or ageing. The requirement for receiving an assistive device is a doctor´s diagnosis of diminished functional capacity due to an illness or injury and the subsequent need for an assistive device.
